A LETTER TO PASTORS & LEADERS: January 2009 To The Hampton Roads and Peninsula Churches and even those churches that are afar off: Greetings in the name of our great God, whom has shown to this United States of America that there is one God that is all powerful and all knowing. We are Six (6) years to our arrival to Newport News, and have just moved to our new location, both according to the perfect will of God: Bethesda Bible Institute & Seminary and Messenger School of Counseling @ Mosaic Campus. Bethesda is non-denominational and multi-cultural and it’s Academic Curriculum have proven to be sound biblically, non-threatening who's doctrinal beliefs are maintain the counsel of God as proven in its Hermeneutic course, which integrates into other key courses. Bethesda's call is to help the Body of Christ look intently at the Five-Fold Ministry; the Soul/Temperaments (mind, will, emotions); Gifts and Callings and how they are utilized in all vocations, according to God’s paradigm. Isa 48:3 I have declared the former things from of old; yea, they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them: suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. Yes we all realize that these are hard times, but these are also the greatest time for reap the harvest. Do we have possess in our churches and ministries men and women prepared (laborers) to assist with preparing the Body of Christ to do their work in the ministry. We ensure that when you or your selected leadership or even congregation comes away from Bethesda they know: THE POWER OF GOD 1Co 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 1Co 12:5 And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord. 1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all. 1Co 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. THE OFFICERS OF GOD - THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY Eph 4:11 And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: THE MINISTRY WORKERS (all have at least one) 1Co 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues. UNDERSTANDING OUR TEMPERAMENT/SOUL (Mind, Will and Emotions), human behavior—biblically. That of the Melancholy, Sanguine, Choleric, Supine, Phlegmatic in all 3 areas of the Soul with it’s strengths, weaknesses and needs, that we may possess what the scripture state. Deut. 6:5 and thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Psalms 139:13 For thou didst form my inward parts: Thou didst cover me in my mother's womb. Psa 139:14 I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well. I would love to see you or your staff join Bethesda when it begins it classes: Monday, and/or Thursday evenings, Saturday (upcoming). Our per Credit: Biblical Bachelor - $80; Master’s - $100; Doctorate $150. Our core/required courses, which are unique to others are: Biblical Hermeneutics; Pneumatology with Gifts analysis in Motivational Gifts, Gifts of the Spirit (power of God)--1 Corinthians. 12:8-10, Ministry Gifts (1 Corinthians 12:28) and the Five-Fold Ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12); Created In God's Image or Creation Therapy (understanding human behavior biblically)--Psalms 139:13-16, counseling courses are also taught in Spanish. Our courses are interactive and overlapping for reinforcement that we gain the knowledge, understanding and wisdom to walk in our gifts and calling. Our Counselor candidates do not need a degree to become licensed counselors, but we do have degree programs which they can register for. We humbly ask the churches and outreach ministries to send us your preachers, teachers, counselors, and leaders and we promise they will return ready for the task to do their work of the ministry for your local congregation, not only that others will be inspired and moved to action. We are approved by the State Council on Higher Education of Virginia (SCHEV) as a theological institution to confer Biblical Degrees and our Counseling School is a Certified Academic Institution with The National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA), and provides accredited Certification, Licensure and Degrees. We are also approved by the Department of Veteran’s Administration to receive Educational benefits for the military, their dependents and those that qualify.
